January the 26th, 2020, will always be remembered as one of the worst days in the NBA history. Kobe, his daughter Gigi and seven others, died in a helicopter crash. Later on, Orange County Board of Supervisors voted to declare August 24 as Kobe Bryant Day. It's also one day after Kobe's birthday, August 23rd.
